About Electrical Hazards, Inc.
We are a Philadelphia electrical contractor built around one job: finding the hazards in a home's wiring and making them safe.
The Name Says What We Do
Electrical Hazards, Inc. has its office at 145 W Swedesford Rd in Wayne. From there, our crews head into rowhomes across Philadelphia and older houses along the Main Line, in Lower Merion, Upper Merion, Wayne and Berwyn.
Most of our work starts at the electrical panel. We replace fuse boxes and worn panels, then fix the parts around them: the service cable on the outside wall, the grounding that keeps metal pipes safe, and the old wiring hidden in walls and attics. Lighting, outlets and smart home wiring round out what we do.
We hold a City of Philadelphia electrical contractor license, #37352, issued by the Department of Licenses and Inspections. Philadelphia requires electrical contractors to show that number on their ads, proposals and vehicles, so you will see it everywhere we work. Our team also includes an ICC Certified Commercial Electrical Inspector, which shapes how we check every job before the city or township inspector sees it.

Featured on DIY Network
Our work appeared on DIY Network's Kitchen Impossible, in a segment on the electrical side of a home renovation. It covers the main panel, new wiring and why overloaded circuits trip.
It is the same kind of work we do every week for Philadelphia and Main Line homeowners.
